Excellent Choice for a MultiFunction Machine, December 13, 2004

A visit to a client's office introduced me to this printer. After looking it over and discovering that the normal black only print was very fast, and the built-in Network Interface, I really got interested. I've got it on my network and it serves Mac and PC computers alike. Naturally, the high definition of the graphics up to photographs are slower and slower, but normal business printing with color is very fast.
It has a fairly large memory for storing FAXes if it runs out of paper or you just set it to take in FAXes without printing. It can also send those to your computer if you like.
One of the things I like most is that the individual ink cartridges are BIG! Most of the other printers like this have very small cartridges and they are all about the same in price. Unfortunately, PrintPal.com does not yet have the replacement cartridges for this printer, but probably will by the time these run out at the rate I am printing on it. Usually I use my b/w laser for most business printing. The main reason I bought this printer was because of my grand daughter that lives in Wales and is not quite 4 months old! So now I'm printing photos again!
Like all InkJet printers with individual color cartridges, they are expensive. But when PrintPal get's them they will be more reasonable. Around 5-7.00 each, I should think.
Printer also has a paper feeder for making copies, and a reasonably sized paper feeder, although it's not all that big. You will still need a different scanner if you want to do negatives and slides, but for the money, this is a very fine machine. I'm very happy with it!

This is a great multifunction printer, May 13, 2007

This is a great printer. It is fast and reliable. I have had it for a year and have not had any problems. The ink cartridges are simple to access and easy to change. The document feeder works great. The flat bed scanner is the best. The software is very good too, with the exception of not having label or business card capabilities- that is why I rated it only 4 stars. But overall, it is a great printer.
