The Brother MFCJ615W is a great value. I was moving to a seasonal home and decided I had better have a printer for my laptop. A copier was also needed occasionally. I could go down the street to fax. I may need a scanner every other week. I then realized that I could get all these machines for the price of a printer only. I have used all the functions multiple times. It is better than the 3 different machines I have at home base to do the same jobs. So far it has not been an ink hog. It does not use color to print Black type as other Brother machines do.
Very satisfied with price and functionality so far.

The Brother MFCJ615W is a great all in one ink-jet printer. It faxes without even turning on your PC. With the document feeder, you can stack your papers for faxing, scanning or copying and walk away. For the larger items, like books, you still have the option of using the flatbed scanner. With four different ink cartridges, I'm hoping I will save money. My old printer only had one for black and one for the colors. I chose the wireless option to connect it and I had no problems. I haven't tried the memory card or pic bridge readers yet. Nor have I tried printing photos yet. It has a great LCD display with lots of options/settings.
To sum it up, I would definitely recommend this printer.
