For a dedicated photo printer, I enjoy the ease of getting prints with the Canon software interface. This little number produces nice output. Consumables deplete rapidly but they don't scare you at the register. Ink tanks can be had for under $10.
Some trouble with white edges on borderless prints, but power cycling seems to solve it.
Paper tray leaves sheets hanging out in front where they are in the way.
I use this printer to get quick snaps for fun and transmit or take my serious stuff to the photo finisher for prints. That said I'm happy enough with this purchase as it fits my need without regrets.

I bought this printer today at Staples for $119.00 to have a unit to print quick holiday snapshots. I am very pleased with this product. It is small, feature rich, and prints good looking photos. The 2.5" color LCD screen is nice and the printer can input photos from your computer ( Mac or PC ) via USB, directly from your camera, or by inserting the memory card from your camera into the appropriate slot.

The unit is portable and can easily be moved from room to room or taken on trips or friends and relatives homes.

Photo quality is very good with clear, crisp details and vivid colors. I have printed people and landscapes and the results were very good. A 4x6 photo takes around a minute to crank out.

Although it is a nice complement to any digital camera, it especially complements the Canon line which I highly recommend. I have a Canon SD550 7.1 mega pixel digital Elph my self and the two pair together like a charm.

If you have a digital camera you definitely need one of these fun and easy to use little printers.
