I've had this printer for over a year. And Let me tell you, it's worth every penny. At one point I thought the printer broke, the problem was generic staples brand inks( stay away from them) . I print professional quality Wedding photo's on this and no one can tell. Stay away from the pro9500 garbage!

We purchased this printer 15 months ago and have never had a good print. It wouldn't feed paper well - we had it cleaned under canon warranty but they couldn't fix the print quality because our ink tanks were low and the canon authorized dealer didn't have a replacement tank on hand.
IT has NEVER printed a good picture. We finally are in the midst of doing our Christmas projects and have talked to the canon dealer and the warranty place (thru Amazon)and have figured out the print head is bad. So they were supposed to send us a replacement printer. After a week of waiting for one I called them back only to be referred to another company who referred me back to the warranty company telling me that they had told the warranty company that they would not be able to get us another one.
I got back on the phone with the warranty company who once again told me the printer was backordered. I told them to call the fulfillment company and get back to me. They asked me to hold and called them and confirmed that they were not going to get me one. I had been told originally that I would be upgraded if my printer was not available but now I am told that they will be sending me my money back. Great - I NEED A PRINTER!!!! We have always had good luck with Canon's so I guess we will go back to it. Our S800 is about to get a new printhead which will hopefully solve it's problems.
