We home school our children, and we print A LOT. I wanted a good quality laser printer that would last for years of solid use. I didn't want to spend a lot, of course, but I wanted to be able to photocopy, print and occasionally fax. The pricing on this printer may seem a little high, but when really compared with others that do the same it is not. And, I trust Dell's warranty program, so we bought it. Since its been here I have never been happier. My old printer was always jamming and taking in more sheets than it needed. This one has been perfect. Definitely worth the investment.

My printouts of brochures and sales letters are first rate, crisp, clear, vibrant. It's quieter than I was led to believe in other reviews. Box packaging was very secure. Shipping turnaround was timely. Hookups and software interfaces were easy to achieve. Optional duplexer well worth the investment. All-In-One design increases versatility to the max.
Sometimes I have to play with the paper that I insert to make sure printout happens in the right direction...and on the correct side that I need it to be. Print direction seems to vary with the type of document I'm trying to print, even within the same application-a desktop publisher. This could be a slight time-waster.
I was an employee of a large firm. I had access to great sophistication in graphics and versatility in other printing and copying needs. Now, I'm a small business owner in startup. With this printer, I feel like I'm still in the big leagues...but on a smaller scale! Overall, the 3115cn is proving to be the perfect moderately priced choice for me.
