I bought this printer to use in combination with my Desktop and my laptop, within my network. Very easy to install into network with usb cable to start (not use after initial set-up) Works PERFECTLY for this purpose, and it has EXCELLENT quality as well! I would HIGHLY endorse this printer to everyone interested in a wireless printer to work with multiple computers!

I am not sure about the ink usage yet so you can ignore those stars. This was a super value for all that this unit does. I have used the fax, scanning and printing and it is great. I really like the wireless option that lets me print from almost anyplace. The print speed and print quality are great also. I paid $64.00 for this printer/etc and that I consider a fantastic price.
