I bought this printer for my wife to keep on her night table when the old Epson printer she had ran out of ink. I priced new cartridges, thought about the slow speed of the printer she was using, and then decided to just chuck the old printer and buy this HP printer for 49 bucks. Of course, it came with two new ink cartridges to boot! I always use HP printers in my work and have found them to last long and provide consistent, reliable output. So far this little cheapie hasn't disappointed. It was easy to set up, easy to get it to work on my wife's unfortunate Windoze laptop (I use Macs almost exclusively), it's faster and produces better output quality than that nasty old Epson.
I think I'll keep her!

When it comes to buying a computer, we all need so many different things. While there have been more perspective buyers of MP3 players and USB Flash Drives, printers have never lost their edge when making sure your needs for your computer are secure and simple. However, most printer are expensive in value, and don't actually deliver everything in your printers' needs. HP knows that feeling for the consumers. For the past few decades, they've made the best quality printers for your everyday needs, whether it is printing up a resume, or setting up for a school project, and this one is no acception.
The HP Deskjet 2360 is a easy to use printer for all your needs and wants. This printer is easy to setup and is compatable to Windows 98, ME and XP. The printer also is simple to install. The software that comes with it makes it easy for you to print pictures as well from your digital cameras, and has red eye reduction software, so you can print your pictures with confidence. The printer works great with the HP inkjet cartridges 21 & 22 that print as many as 20 pages per minute. It also shows you how much ink you have at a much more proficent level of when you need to replace or refill you cartridges. The software is easy to setup and connects with a simple USB 2.0 cable, rather than one of those bulkier ones. There is one disadvantage though. If you have an older computer that doesn't have USB 2.0 connections, you'd have to buy a USB 2.0 card for your computer for it to work. Otherwise, you'd wouldn't be able to print anything.
All in all, the HP Deskjet 2360 Printer is a great buy not just because of the value, but it really delivers a high level quality that other printer today don't deliver as well. It really is worth it for anyone shopping for a new printer for their everyday needs.
