I just bought this because I wanted a second printer in my house- specifically a printer in the bedroom to connect my laptop too. I use the laptop in my bedroom when I'm too lazy to get out of bed. Otherwise I have to go to my den to use my Excellent Desktop Computer, Printer & Scanner set up. So too me this is an incredible deal for $80. I thought the quality was pretty good & too me that means its great for what I'm using it for. You get what you pay for. If I want the best quality, I'll use my set up in my den with more expensive equipment. But again, for just using this for quick convenience, it's incredible for the price. Also on my desktop setup in my den with my excellent Canon Scanner (CanoScan LiDE 35 Scanner) & excellent HP 3650 printer which I both got on Amazon, in order to just print out a plain copy of something that's not on the internet, I have to first scan what I want copied-i.e. a bill. On the HP F380, all I have to do is press the copy button on top & I don't have to scan it. Like I said, for $80 this is great.

I just bought this today, scanning is very easy, it prints fast.
I rated it 4/5 because of the paper tray, it has an input tray, but the out tray is the same input tray separated only a little, unlike my older mode Hp 845C that had two well defined trays.
The other thing is the compatible cartridges, Hp 21 and 22 both are 5ml ink cartridges, compared with my older Hp 845C that uses Hp 15 and 17 25ml.
We all know that they sell you cheap printers to sac you out buying their ink, but I suggest you to forget about it, don't waste ink, set it on draft by default so that way you don't have to set it to print in draft each time you want to print and keep some cartridges in case you are close to run out of ink, though it tells you when they are running low.
