Header: Automatic duplex function won't work with Vista OS

I purchased the 2015d directly from HP. The automatic (vs. manual) duplex function was my main purchase criteria, thus the choice of the 2015d rather than the 2015. Specs at the HP site stated that the 2015d is "certified for Windows Vista" and is "Windows Vista ready". These statements are misleading: Vista does not support the automatic duplex function of this printer. After many hours of effort, I called HP tech support and they confirmed/shared this info post-purchase.
To return the HP printer I had to contact Tiger Direct to get a return authorization (RA)number and bear the return shipping cost. Ugh. But at least I was able to get the RA number.
Not so with ANTOnline. Neither their online system nor a call to technical support could recognize the Amazon order number and no ANTOnline order number was printed on anything I got. So phone tech support said to send an email with my story on in and they'd get back to me.
Can you believe such a mess.
In comes the HP k5400. While it does its job fine - I do have three negative comments. It is a monster in size! I have no idea why it is so large! It's color scanning errors on the side of being too red. Finally, its menus and functions are not as intutiive as they could be.

This printer is fast most of the time except when printing pages with high quality photos. The first print job page comes out immediately, however, the second print job may take up to 3 minutes to print the first page, but is fine after that. It duplexes very well. The print quality is exceptional and I really like the econo-mode for saving toner. I would highly recommend this printer for a home office or small office printer, especially when using an HP JetDirect network unit. I was able to use my old print server from another HP printer to save a few bucks.
